Your Stellar Truth April 17th, 2024

Hello, dear readers! Here’s what the stars have in store for us this week… 

Major astrological events

• Jupiter-Uranus conjunction

What this means: On Saturday, April 20th, 2024, Jupiter will conjunct Uranus. In astrology, a conjunction occurs when two astronomical objects (asteroids, moons, planets, stars, etc.) appear very close together in the sky, often in the same sign. In this case, Jupiter and Uranus are both in the sign of Taurus, which means that the energies and themes associated with these two planets will seem more prevalent in our lives.

 Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, is linked to abundance, growth, expansion, luck, wisdom, and higher learning. Uranus, which rules Aquarius, governs disruption, sudden changes, unpredictability, originality, rebellion, and new ways of doing things. The amplification of these two planets could likely result in sudden bouts of good luck, and on a wider scale, it may help us overcome obstacles and stagnancy to achieve our goals and get things done. Keep an eye out for new, unexpected opportunities, invitations, events, and even shocking changes in society and the world at large that may be tough to handle or accept. However, some of these shifts are probably necessary as social unrest increases amid various global crises. “Business As Usual” may soon become a thing of the past.  

Taurus is ruled by Venus and is associated with love, romance, wealth, possessions, stability, and security. When Uranus is in the sign of Taurus, it’s to its detriment, meaning that it is not in its most comfortable sign and therefore struggles to express and deal with the energies at hand. This makes a lot of sense considering that Taurus typically values tradition and stability, while Aquarius tends to be more unconventional with an affinity for change and progress. We might see this manifest in strange and unexpected ways that can make it difficult us for to know what to expect. However, Taurus being the sign of money, combined with the originality of Uranus plus the abundance and expansion of Jupiter could make this an optimal time to pursue new creative endeavors and money-making opportunities, because the astrological climate is more favorable for success than usual.  This event is special because it’s the first time Jupiter and Uranus come together in the sign of Taurus in nearly 83 years. Also, Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions only happen once every 14 years!
