Your Stellar Truth August 3rd, 2024

Issue #15

Hello Star People!

I’m so sorry I’m publishing this newsletter a few days late, I was making some changes and adding new services to my website that I’m super excited to share with you all! I also would like to share something with you 🙂

  • Being a full-time astrologer is a lot of work, especially in the beginning as I’m in the “baby steps” phase of my business. Doing this requires a lot of time, effort, energy, and money!

  • If you enjoy my work, please consider donating to my Buy me a coffee!

  • Thank you for your support!

YST Updates:

I’ve added several stellar new birth chart reading services on my website! These include the following:

Major astrological events this week:

  • New Moon in Leo on August 4th, 2024.

  • Mercury goes retrograde in Virgo

New Moon in Leo:

  • New Moons restart the lunar cycle and therefore signal new beginnings and a feeling of out with the old, in with the new. And what better sign to start a new chapter than enthusiastic, passionate, and unapologetic Leo?

  • Now is a key time to manifest and set intentions to do the things we were too scared to do before. This is the moment to hone in on your calling and just go with it without fear or apprehension.

  • You will benefit from being bold, standing out, embracing your uniqueness, being creative, and ignoring the naysayers!

  • Take the time to jot down your goals and aspirations and tap into the energy of optimism and new possibilities.

Here are some journal prompts I’ve created for the New Moon in Leo:

  • What creative gift(s) have I overlooked or neglected?

  • How can I incorporate my creativity in different areas of my life?

  • Describe your true self vs. the “watered-down” version of yourself. Reflect on what kind of situations have forced you to dim your shine.

  • Reflect on the kind of energy you are looking to attract into your life and write it all down.

Mercury retrograde in Virgo

  • Mercury retrograde is regarded as a challenging period in astrology because it’s linked to both communicative and mental disruptions.

  • People typically report being more prone to making errors and overlooking big mistakes during Mercury retrograde.

  • Astrologers strongly advise people NOT to sign major contracts or make major decisions during a Mercury retrograde.

  • The zodiac sign Virgo is ruled by Mercury, making this particular retrograde extra difficult, because Virgo is a very analytical, detail-oriented sign that seriously struggles when its ruling planet goes haywire!

  • This amplifies the upcoming Mercury Retrograde, which will last until August 28th. Fortunately, Mercury will only be in Virgo until August 14th, when it enters Leo.

Astrology concept of the week: Using astrology for relocation and travel planning

  • I recently discussed Astrocartography in one of my previous YST newsletters.

  • To refresh your memory, Astrocartography maps your birth chart against a map of the world to gauge the types of energies you would be most inclined to experience in different locations. The specific planetary lines found overlaying different places can give us an idea of what living or traveling there could entail for us.

  • However, relocational astrology incorporates both astrocartography and general astrology.

  • Several areas in the birth chart tell us about where we would be more inclined to live and travel, most notably our 4th House placements & ruler, and 9th House placements & ruler.

  • The 4th House in astrology is governed by Cancer (the 4th zodiac sign) and deals with themes of the family, home, foundations, and ancestry. Knowing which zodiac sign is ruling over the 4th House can give us clues about the kind of places a person would enjoy living in most. For example, someone with Capricorn ruling over their 4th House would probably prefer living in a very structured environment in a well-organized home. They would also appreciate living in the mountains, being that Capricorn is represented by the Mountain Goat. Someone with Pisces or Cancer ruling over the 4th would probably want to live near a large body of water because A. Both are water signs and B. Both are represented by sea creatures (the 2 fish and the crab.)

  • The 9th House in astrology is ruled by Sagittarius, which deals with travel, higher education, wisdom, expansion, and experiences. The zodiac sign ruling over our 9th House gives us an idea of the kind of traveler a person is and the types of destinations they would be most drawn to. For example, someone with Aries ruling over their 9th House would probably like a lot of action and stimulation when traveling as opposed to relaxation. This is because Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of action and assertion, among other things.

  • I recently created a 9th House travel compatibility video series that you can watch on my TikTok and Instagram pages!

  • I also offer astrocartography/relocation readings that you can book here
